Music Festival

Congratulations to both Raymond High School Bands (Wind Orchestra and High School Band), upon receiving superior honors in their Lethbridge Music Festival this past week. The Lethbridge Music Festival is one of many competitive festivals that the RHS band program attends throughout the year. It is an adjudicated performance in which the band performing plays their pieces and then is ranked in a system of poor, fair, good, excellent, and superior performance. 

The Wind Orchestra received a mark of 98 which is not only a superior but a near perfect performance. There was an increase in the number of competitors in the next category as the High School Band received a 91 which is also in the superior range. Together these immense achievements are the highest mark that Mr. Heseltine and our RHS bands have received in all the years of their participation at the festival.
